NBC RADIO encompasses major radio operations: the iconic National Radio, NBC Provincial Radio and more recently Tribe FM.

For over 40 years NBC has been the trusted broadcaster that has connected Papua New Guinea, internally and to the world. We have had our fair share of broadcast highlights, particularly in 1974 when PNG was declared an independent nation.

We continue to evolve into a modern, diverse and mature broadcaster that continues to serve the people of Papua New Guinea in changing times.

With a focus on national, regional and global issues, we deliver real information and educational programs that make a difference and become talking points for people in all communities. Audience Interaction and participation is characteristic, actively sought and promoted through regular talkback.

Although major programming features in English, we also accommodate content supplied in Pidgin and Motu.

Our flagship News and Current Affairs program "Current Issues", is the programme PNG wakes up to
in the morning, with experienced and trusted journalist Waliagai Olewale presenting. At night Jerry Tave delivers the news that matters. Real stories. Real People. Real detail. News reported as it happens.
